Miss Five Rivers 2019
Jada Samuel is a lifestyle news producer and reporter for WIS News 10's Palmetto Weekend. She is a 2018 graduate of the University of South Carolina where she became a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Jada held many leadership positions throughout college and found her passion for photography and branding small businesses through Jada Monet Media.

iShapeMe: Mentoring Girls, Building Empowered Women is an extension of the nonprofit mentoring organization that Jada founded in 2014. iShapeMe Inc. is dedicated to helping young girls learn to shape themselves mentally, physically and spiritually. The organization encourages a high self esteem, positive body image, a fit and healthy lifestyle and a grounded spiritual life. The organization has hosted events that have reached over 300 girls across South Carolina. Recently, the iShapeMe Mentoring Program launched with the mission to educate and empower middle school aged girls. The program is led by college-aged and young professional women who are also participants of a peer mentoring program. Learn more at ishapeme.org.
